กลับมาอีกครั้งกับพี่โล้น เจสัน สเตแธม ที่กลับมาพร้อมกับฉ,าม เมกะโลดอน ที่รอบนี้ไม่ได้มาแค่ตัวเดียว แต่โผล่มาถึง 3 ตัว กับปลาหมึกยักษ์อีกหนึ่ง (ไม่ได้สปอยล์นะ เพราะในตัวอย่างก็มีอยู่) เสริมทัพด้วย อู๋ จิง พระเอกยอดกังฟู (แน่นอนว่าหนังงร่วมทุนกับจีน) แต่เสียดายที่ภาคนี้ไม่มี หลี่ปิงปิง สุดสวย แต่หนังก็ยังดูสนุกอยู่ดี และก็โม้จัดเหมือนเดิมอยู่ดี

ภาคนี้ก็ยังแบ่งชัดๆ เป็น 2 ช่วงหลักๆ อยู่เหมือนเดิม ช่วงแรกเป็นการทำภารกิจและตบตีกับมนุษย์ ซึ่งเป็นพวกผู้ร้ายในเรื่อง เหมือนภาคแรกแหละที่บริษัทนางเอกมีคนหักหลังและต้องการฮุบธุรกิจ ภาคนี้เนื้อเรื่องก็ออกแนวคล้ายๆ กัน เปลี่ยนตัวละครประกอบ โดยมีพี่เจสันเป็นตัวหลักพาทีมลงไปทำภารกิจบุกดงฉลาม คราวนี้ลงไปถึงถิ่นของแก๊งเมกะโลดอน ซึ่งฉากใต้น้ำในภาคนี้เป็นฉากที่ค่อนข้างไฮดลท์ของเรื่องเลยล่ะ



ฉากใต้น้ำยังคงความตื่นเต้นได้ดี หนังไม่ได้เล่นกับความมืดมิดของใต้ทะเล แต่กลับทำให้มันสว่างแบบเห็นกันชัดๆ ไปเลยว่ามีอะไรโผล่มา ไม่ต้องมาแอบ ซึ่งฉลามโผล่มาให้เห็นเลยทั้งสามตัว แถมยังมีสัตว์ประหลาดตัวใหม่ที่จิ๋วแต่โหดโผล่มาอีก มีแค่เจ้าปลาหมึกยักษ์ตัวเดียวที่โผล่มาแต่หนวด แล้วพอช่วงท้ายเรื่องถึงจะออกมาให้เห็นเต็มๆ



หนังยังคงความมันส์ไว้ได้เหมือนภาคแรกแถมในช่วงที่ลุยฉลามมันส์กว่าเดิมด้วย เพราะมีตั้งสามตัวให้ดวลกับพี่โล้นของเรา รวมถึงความโม้ก็ยังโอ้โหโม้จัดเหมือนเดิม แต่ละฉากดูแลร้องเชร้ดดดดทุกฉาก เพราะมันยังโม้โคตรๆ แบบไม่มีทางเป็นจริงได้เลย แต่มันคือเสน่ห์ของหนังเรื่องนี้อยู่แล้วที่เอาความโม้มาทำให้หนังสนุก



มันเป็นมาตั้งแต่ภาคแรกอยู่แล้วที่หนังเรื่องนี้มันโม้ได้สนุกสุดขีด เพราะฉะนั้นอย่าไปหวังอะไรกับความเป็นไปได้ของมัน ให้ทำหัวโหม่งๆ แล้วเข้าไปดูคนสู้กับสัตว์ประหลาดให้สนุกสุดๆ ไปเลยดีกว่า
