พระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัวจึงได้มีการโปรดเกล้าโปรดกระหม่อจากแบบอย่างปฏิทินเดิมให้เปลี่ยนเป็นปฏิทินสุริยคติ มีแบบ
