หลักการและเหตุผล

      การบริหารงานจัดซื้อ หมายถึงการจัดการกระบวนการเพื่อให้ได้สินค้าและการบริการที่ต้องการจากคู่ค้าหรือบุคคลภายนอกได้อย่างมีประสิทธิผลและประสิทธิภาพทั้งด้านต้นทุนและความเหมาะสม การบริหารงานจัดซื้อที่ดีคือการจัดซื้อสินค้าแบบถูกสถานที่ ถูกเวลา คุณภาพที่ถูกต้อง ด้วยต้นทุนที่ต่ำอย่างเหมาะสมซึ่งจะช่วยให้องค์กรประสบความสำเร็จตามเป้าหมายที่กำหนดได้

     การบริหารงานจัดซื้อที่มีประสิทธิภาพสามารถช่วยให้ฝ่ายต่าง ๆ ในองค์กรปฏิบัติงานได้อย่างสอดคล้องกับความต้องการสินค้าของลูกค้ามากขึ้น เช่น ฝ่ายผลิตจะสามารถผลิตสินค้าได้ทันและส่งมอบได้ตรงเวลามากขึ้น ช่วยลดต้นทุนสินค้าคงคลังของฝ่ายคลังสินค้าวัตถุดิบ และยังเพิ่มความมั่นใจให้ฝ่ายการขายและการตลาดในการทำการตลาดเชิงรุกเพื่อกระตุ้นความต้องการสินค้าของลูกค้าและเพิ่มยอดขายได้มากขึ้นอีกด้วย

     การบริหารจัดการซัพพลายเออร์คือการบริหารความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้ซื้อและผู้ขายเพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพในการดำเนินธุรกิจร่วมกันอย่างเหมาะสม ด้วยการสร้างเครือข่ายและมาตรฐานการทำงานร่วมกันอย่างเป็นเลิศ และเพื่อการดำเนินงานที่สอดคล้องกัน รวมถึงการสร้างกระบวนการร่วมกันเพื่อพัฒนาศักยภาพที่ดีให้มากขึ้น โดยมีจุดประสงค์เพื่อสร้างความยั่งยืนร่วมกัน ลดความเสี่ยงที่จะเกิดปัญหาหรือเกิดความผิดพลาด ลดต้นทุนการดำเนินงานร่วมกัน ตลอดจนเพิ่มความพึงพอใจให้กับทุกซัพพลายเออร์ที่ทำงานร่วมกันได้อย่างสม่ำเสมอ

1. เพื่อสามารถบริหารงานจัดซื้อสินค้าและการบริการได้อย่างเหมาะสมกับองค์กร

2. เพื่อให้มีสินค้าและการบริการตามชนิดและปริมาณตามที่ลูกค้าต้องการได้อย่างสม่ำเสมอ

3. เพื่อลดต้นทุนการปฏิบัติงานด้านจัดซื้อได้อย่างเหมาะสม

4. เพื่อลดปัญหา ลดความผิดพลาด สร้างความสัมพันธ์ที่ดีระหว่างองค์กรและซัพพลายเออร์

5. เพื่อสร้างความพึงพอใจให้กับลูกค้าและสร้างผลประกอบการขององค์กรได้มากขึ้น
